It's time for a change.
It's time for GRACE.

“Infusing a student’s mind with knowledge without shaping their soul serves them temporarily. However, when we engage that student with the truth of God’s word and steer them toward a relationship with Jesus, we prepare them for eternity.”

Pastor Randy Blan — Headmaster

A Word from Our Founder

G.R.A.C.E. is a network of independently-run schools. The schools are united in a standardized framework, supporting traditional values and ensuring a cohesive academic standard. Parents can confidently enroll their child for an optimal in-person learning experience.

G.R.A.C.E. stands for “Gracefully Reclaiming a Conservative Education.”  We are calling on parents all across Illinois to join us in our effort to establish conservative, faith-based schools that focus intensively on our student's character, values, faith, and education.

These past 18 months of government mandates, forced masking of our children, mandated sex-education requirements, and more have driven thousands of teachers and students away from public education. Regardless of political and religious backgrounds, people are genuinely outraged and disappointed, because they expect so much more for their children's education.

In August of 2005, with the introduction of Common Core, we launched Families of Faith Christian Academy because I began to see the cultural shift and the impact it was having on families.

There was no longer any form of discipline in schools and our once-shared common values were fading. I felt at that time, and my convictions remain the same today: that we can no longer trust the government to protect our children by ensuring an education that resembles our nation's foundational values. Today, because of many years of neglect and a lack of any real focus, along with a politically-leveraged pandemic, our children are in more trouble than most parents realize. Academically, many students are about a year and a half behind where they should be. We cannot stand by and wait for someone else to do what God has called us to do. Please join us in starting and establishing as many schools as we can in 2022!

OUR MISSION

Families of Faith Christian Academy will partner with parents to provide a quality academic education designed to develop students who will follow Christ, embrace biblical truth and live lives that glorify God.

CORE VALUES
ACADEMIC FREEDOM

We enjoy the freedom to develop an academic experience not mandated by the state or federal government. Our curriculum is grounded in traditional values and truth about our country’s history. We have chosen Abeka for its advanced approach to learning skills, including cursive. Abeka provides our students with a comprehensive, quality curriculum written from a Christian perspective. Now more than ever, children need a strong foundation in both academics and character.

CORE VALUES
BIBLICAL PRINCIPALS

We integrate biblical principles into every subject taught at Families of Faith. Our teaching staff is committed not only to academic excellence but to teaching students how to apply the truths of God’s Word to every aspect of their life. If you agree with the teachings of God’s Word, this school will complement the beliefs and ideals that you teach your children at home. We look forward to partnering with your family in educating your child in God’s truth.”

OUR TEACHERS

We boast an excellent faculty. They are essential to the successful implementation of our mission. We recognize the enormous influence that teachers have on students. All faculty members are born-again Christians. They come from a variety of backgrounds with genuine faith in Jesus in common. They have demonstrated their calling and equipping for Christian education in the following three areas: having demonstrated the foundation of genuine faith in Christ, having been called to the ministry of Christian Education, and holding the necessary educational credentials to support that call.
